Bend Memorial Clinic Partners with CHMB to Launch a Revenue Recovery and CBO Leadership Program

San Diego, Calif., May 26, 2015 – CHMB, a leading provider of revenue cycle management services, announced today that Bend Memorial Clinic (BMC), the dominant multi-specialty group in Central Oregon, has signed a definitive agreement with CHMB to deploy a shared revenue cycle management solution, part of CHMB’s LYNK revenue cycle services. In addition to LYNK, CHMB will provide a CBO Leadership program where they’ll begin to prepare the business office for improved workflows to maximize efficiency and ultimately improve revenue collections.

Bend Memorial Clinic proudly offers the services of over 30 different specialties with over 120 providers through 5 locations and 3 urgent care centers.  Bend Memorial Clinic will transition from Allscripts Misys Vision to EPICare Ambulatory in August 2015. To support the transition, CHMB will collaborate with existing skilled BMC back office resources to assist in an accounts receivable recovery project, working both on legacy and current A/R.  Simultaneously, CHMB and BMC leadership will prepare for the EPIC go-live to ensure they maximize their return on this sizeable investment. CHMB will provide operational best practices to their CBO to ensure that as the change to an effective technology platform like EPIC is made, the business office and revenue cycle process leverages what this improved technology has to offer.  Following the transition, CHMB will continue to partner with Bend Memorial Clinic through shared revenue cycle management services to support their high transactional volume of 125,000 encounters per month.
