The Greater Hudson Valley Health System Signs with CHMB to Augment Staff with EPIC Resources
San Diego, Calif., August 10, 2017 – CHMB, a leading provider of revenue cycle management services nationwide, has announced that the Greater Hudson Valley Health System (GHVHS) has signed a partnership agreement for revenue cycle management services. As one of the largest healthcare providers in the mid-Hudson and Catskill region, GHVHS operates as the active parent company for the Catskill Regional Medical Center and the Orange Regional Medical Center, as well as three hospital campuses. With over 130 providers, GHVHS aims to provide exceptional health care services to over 450,000 people in their neighboring counties.
GHVHS is dedicated to leading the effort to provide exceptional healthcare and patient experience to the tri-county area. GHVHS will partner with CHMB to reinforce their workforce and to improve workflows. CHMB’s team of EPIC trained professionals will work together with GHVHS’s workforce to provide AR work down and insurance follow up to reduce their days in AR and quickly increase their cash flow.
“Our strategy entails working closely with a partner like CHMB that has consistently provided great financial results for similar organizations,” said Jonathan Schiller, CEO of Catskill Regional Medical Center. “Other companies were not able to confidently promise a quick ramp up and implementation, but CHMB was able to deliver on their commitment and was able to onboard quickly and scale in a short time.”
“GHVHS was looking for qualified EPIC specialists to work in their systems and to provide resources to improve cash flow and reduce AR. CHMB fit the role for a long term partner for GHVHS,” commented Janet Boos, President of CHMB. “We are excited to be offering our valuable EPIC resources to such a large and established health system.”
