The Challenge
In 2002, this dynamic group of orthopedic surgeons split off from a larger practice to form their own group. In 2004, they designed, built, and moved into a new facility that featured additional programs including Adventure/Extreme Sports Medicine and Rehabilitative Services and required interfacing between CHMB's information system to a new cutting edge PAC (Picture Archiving and Communication) system. In addition to stable cash flow to support these endeavors, the evolution of their practice required decision support tools and reporting to assess the most cost-effective and profitable paths to guarantee best financial results for the growing practice.
The Plan
The group decided to outsource their billing and IT network support system needs so they could focus on practice growth and patient services and care. After considering many outsource billing vendors, they realized they needed not just a billing service, but a partner that offered comprehensive resources, financial stability, and support services enabling them to focus on growing the practice.
